At New Leaf Recreational Therapy, our recreation center provides a safe, supportive, and engaging space where children and youth can participate in meaningful recreational therapy activities. The center allows us to offer structured sessions in a comfortable environment while still focusing on fun, creativity, and personal growth.

New Leaf Recreational Center is currently located at 1100 Kane St. La Crosse, WI. As our program continues to grow, New Leaf Recreational Therapy is actively working toward expanding into a larger recreation center in the near future.

A Safe and Supportive Environment

Our recreation center is designed to give children a place where they can build skills, make connections, and enjoy positive experiences. Sessions at the center may include games, creative activities, movement-based play, social interaction, and skill-building exercises that support each child’s development.

Activities are always adapted to match the needs, interests, and abilities of the child. We focus on creating a calm, structured environment that helps children feel comfortable and successful.

Community and Recreation Center-Based Services

In addition to sessions at our recreation center, recreational therapy services may also take place in the community. Depending on the child’s goals, activities may occur at parks, community locations, events, or other settings that support learning and independence.

Although the focus of New Leaf Recreational Therapy is community integration, having a structured and safe facility to conduct individualized therapy for each client is also important to their full potential.
