
Our Mission
We strive to improve the quality of life for individuals with various disabilities and needs through community-based recreational therapy that promotes independence, strength building, and community integration. We support each client’s physical, emotional, and social well-being through engaging and therapeutic recreational experiences.
What we do
New Leaf Recreational Therapy uses evidence-based practices to improve the quality of life of clients through community-based recreational therapy services. Through play, movement, and life experience, we help clients build skills, confidence, and connections while supporting inclusion and community integration. Our services are individualized, strengths-based, and designed to help each client participate fully in their own lives and in their community. Our services are tailored to each individual and their personal needs and goals.

Who we serve

We work primarily with youth that have a wide range of needs like physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, behavioral challenges and more. Some common diagnoses that we see are ASD, down syndrome, physical disabilities, attention disorders like ADHD and ADD, ODD and more. We work with individuals who benefit from therapeutic, community-based recreational support to build skills, confidence, and meaningful connections. Our services are inclusive, individualized, and designed to meet each client where they are.
